Nearly every person that arrives to Bangkok Airport on his or her way to Koh Chang, has hopes of making it to this tropical island on the same day. Some people will opt for a connecting flight to Trat airport and then into one of our minibuses or sedans to head straight to their resort on Koh Chang, while others will use one of our chauffeur driven cars to transport them to the island only slightly less quick, but definitely more comfortably, direct from one of the airports in Bangkok. Generally speaking, when driving down to the ferries, a departure time from Suvarnabhumi Airport before 14:00, or from Don Muaeng Airport before 13:00, should be enough to get you to the Ao Thammachat pier in Laem Ngop before the last ferry to Koh Chang sails at 19:00. For connecting flights this is less of an issue, as Bangkok Airways guarantees that you will be able to make it to Koh Chang, even if you are on their last flight and it runs into delays. However, being on time for this 14:00 departure or the connect flight to Trat airport can often be quite a challenge. There are many international flights that arrive just after lunch, which makes it very difficult to meet that 14:00 car departure, especially during the high season went immigration queues at the airport can easily grow to as long as an hour to 90 minutes.

• Our friendly Airport Hostess or host will meet & greet with you at the arrival gate, holding a sign with your name or a more discrete expression like a company name, logo, initials, etc.
• She or he will help with carry-on luggage and lead you to the exclusive fast track immigration counters, where he or she will assist with immigration documents details to ensure that your official entry into Thailand occurs without any delays.
• After collecting your luggage from the Baggage claim area, she or he will then guide you through customs and deliver your bags to our driver. If you are traveling by other means of transportation, you will be taken to it in stead. If the pick up vehicle does not hold green or yellow license plates, please ask the driver to park in the parking building and meet at outer door number 3. If you are booked on a connecting flight to Trat Airport or elsewhere, she will escort you to the check-in counters of the airline and conclude her service there.

Bangkok Airport VIP Departure Service

• Our friendly Airport Hostess will meet & greet with you near your airline's check-in counter in the departure hall, holding a sign with your name or a more discrete expression like a company name, logo, initials, etc. For transfers from a flight from Trat to an international flight, our hostess will be waiting at the domestic terminal exit, again with a sign.
• She will assist with check-in and lead you to the exclusive fast track immigration counter, where she will ensure that your official exit from Thailand occurs without any delays and, if so required, accompanies you to the VAT refund claim center.
• After directing you to your departure Gate or your airline's lounge this service in concluded.

• Kindly note that since you will be taken through the VIP / Diplomatic lanes, a certain amount of decency will expected. Please refrain from wearing sleeveless shirts / tank tops, (half) bikinis or very short skirts, flip flops or other wear that might be deemed inappropriate by the Immigration officers. If our host(esse)s find a customer's dress or appearance to be inappropriate they have the right to not take them through fast track lanes, but use regular immigration lanes in stead, without the right to a (partial) refund.
