Spending the night near Bangkok international airport

Even though Thailand is certainly one of the most relaxing countries in the world, the long journey from your own doorstep through Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok and continuing all the way to your beach / island / jungle / cultural destination elsewhere in the country can be a quite exhausting and stressful experience. While some people are fortunate enough to sleep comfortably on an airplane and arrive relatively well rested, most people tend to be awake for at least 16 hours when they arrive to Suvarnabhumi Airport, only then fully realizing that there is still at least 6 hours of travel ahead of them. For those people we highly recommend spending the night in one of the many smaller airport hotels in the vicinity of Bangkok airport or spending a few days in Bangkok itself. The Bangkok Airport hotels all offer, often free, two way shuttle service between their hotel and Suvarnabhumi, but you will be pleased to learn that we can also collect you from any of these Suvarnabhumi Airport hotels at the same rates as when you start your journey with us from BKK airport itself. Spending the night in any of these convenient hotels is also highly recommended for passengers that arrive at Suvarnabhumi airport after 13:00 and plan on traveling to nearby islands like Koh Samed, Koh Chang, Koh Mak and Koh Kood. Most of the speedboat services make their last crossing well before 14:00 and even most ferries seize operations before sunset, making it virtually impossible to reach the destination on time. You may also want to consider that, as you can read in our general info, making a stopover during the night in any other town will add at least 500 baht to your expenses as that is the charge for accommodations for the driver during the night. By staying in a Bangkok hotel you can just request the pick up for the next day, when everyone will be well rested and the journey in one of our limousines or minibuses will be much more enjoyable.
